Hey, Capalaba community! With the state election happening this Saturday, October 26, there’s one thing that’s almost as important as casting your vote: the iconic Democracy Sausage! And guess what? The Capalaba State College P&C is all set to serve up the best sausage sizzle in town.
Why Should You Drop by?
If you've ever voted in an election in Australia, you know the tradition — grab your ballot, and then grab a snag! This year, as you head to the polls at Capalaba State College, you can not only do your civic duty but also support a great cause. Every dollar raised from the sausage sizzle will go directly to supporting the P&C and funding important initiatives for our college.

Timing & Location
When: Saturday, October 26 — Election Day!
Where: Capalaba State College, just outside the polling booths.
Time: We’ll be sizzling from 8:00 AM until all the votes are in (or we run out of sausages!).
Why Support the P&C?
The funds raised from the sausage sizzle will go directly to supporting initiatives that benefit the students of Capalaba State College. This means helping with new equipment, events, and resources that enrich their learning experience. So, while you’re enjoying a tasty snag, know that you’re also giving back to our local school community.
Volunteers Needed!
