Mandatory Training
People come to our schools and offices for different reasons. And we want them all to return home safely, confident they haven’t harmed themselves or anyone else during their visit. We’re committed to maintaining a safe environment for everyone, and therefore require mandatory training for all volunteers on the P&C. Please review and submit your declaration to the two training modules below:

Declaration:
I’ve read the Mandatory All-Staff Training Key messages guide 2024, and now know:

I need to work ethically, protect departmental information, work safely, and respond appropriately to any suspicion of student harm

I need to follow the department’s policies and procedures (including blue card requirements) as required where to get further information or support.
​I also know the Key messages guide Record of Completion:

is valid for 12 months
-
is recognised in all departmental facilities and schools
-
can be used to show I have completed the Key messages guide.

Asbestos Awareness Annual Presentation

Declaration:
By watching the asbestos awareness presentation (annual), I confirm that I:

am aware of my responsibilities to adhere to the department’s asbestos management policy and procedures

that I must obtain written approval from the Business Manager (or nominated officer) prior to the commencement of any facility related work or before engaging service providers to do the work – no matter how minor
-
that I must notify the Business Manager (or nominated officer) if I identify or cause damage to the facility.

I understand that the asbestos awareness Record of Completion:

is valid for 12 months

is required to be submitted to the P&C executive and will be used as evidence that I have completed watching the annual asbestos awareness presentation
