About the event
The 2023-2024 swim club committee has been announced with a fantastic group of new committee volunteers busy planning for the kickoff in Sep/Oct 2023.
About the club: The main aim of the Capalaba Swimming Club is to provide young swimmers with an opportunity to swim for fitness and enjoyment, and to give them a sound basis for future competitive swimming if they wish to progress to higher levels.
Founded in 1981, the club has been operating for almost 40 years, and has a number of long term swimmers, from generations who have swam before them.
The Capalaba State College Amateur Swimming Club is bound by the
Rules and By-Laws (as amended from time to time) of Swimming Queensland Association and the Constitution of the Capalaba State College Parents and Citizens Association.
Capalaba Amateur Swimming Club supports both social and competitive swimmers from age 5 up. Club nights are held every Tuesday between term 4 and 1.
The emphasis is always on the kids doing their personal best and having fun. We also have a canteen on site selling a range of dinner options to make life easier for busy Mums and Dads!
